The Measuring Principle
The measuring principle is based on resonance running time. The probe head contains two sensors which are placed on the skin. One is emitting acoustical shockwaves, the other serves as receiver. Shockwaves propagate differently through the skin according to the state of the elastic fibres and the moisture content of the skin.
