All measurement probes of the latest generation are digital, providing a high degree of stability and flexibility. Each probe features all the necessary electronics and can be used in different ways. The systems enable the following probes to be connected: Sebumeter® SM 815, Corneometer® CM 825, Skin-pH-Meter® PH 905, Skin-Thermometer® ST 500, Tewameter® TM 300, Mexameter® MX 18 and Reviscometer® RV 600.

The New Generation of CK Skin Measurements
1. Luxury stand-alone devices with large illuminated display and the possibility of connecting the room condition sensor. They offer many functions which can easily be operated by the keys under the display. In addition the device can be operated through a user-friendly software.
2. The Multi Probe Adapter System can accept up to 8 probes (different or same kind), the room condition sensor and works with one single software programme. All measurement data go into one database for comparative evaluation.
The Multi Probe Adapter Systems as well as the stand-alone units work with a single user friendly software programme for all probes. All measuring values can be displayed as curves, bars or numerical data and data parameters can be easily adjusted. In addition the standard deviation and average values of the measurements are displayed. All data are saved in a single d-base database, which can be easily accessed by statistical programmes (e.g. Microsoft Excel®) to evaluate the results.
To make working with the MPA System even more comfortable for you we offer the possibility to create your own software. The device has an output of ASCII-strings, which can be used by your software engineer. This makes it possible to get your own testing routines according to your special needs. The data are saved in your database and processed in the way you need them. If you should want to order this special MPA 9, please mark it on your order, as it is different from the normal MPA 9 and will not work with the CK MPA-software.


3. Flexible handheld devices to which the probes can be connected for field studies. The display shows the measured value. Over 3000 values are stored automatically and can subsequently be downloaded to a computer. CK offers a very simple data collection program, which downloads the data into an Excel® spreadsheet.
Room Condition Sensor
As measurements on the living skin depend very much on the environmental conditions (especially temperature and relative humidity), scientists try to hold these parameters as constant as possible. CK offers a special external sensor for ambient condition monitoring (temperature and relative humidity). This can be connected to all device types. When working with the software the room condition measurement values are automatically transferred into the software and are saved with each measurement. This is indispensable for subsequent evaluation and comparison of the measurement data.
