Double click “NauSetup.exe” in the CDROM and install the software as per the instruction; or, install as per the following steps;

1. Hardware installation (The following procedure is for NAU tester. For M2 tester or other models, please see corresponding instructions)
Run the DriverSetup.exe in the CDROM before you connect the tester’s USB plug to the USB port on PC. Afterwards, connect the tester’s USB plug to the USB port on PC. The system will show that it found a new hardware. Then, automatically install the drive program as per the instruction.

Note: Two or more USB video devices shall not be installed on one PC. Otherwise, the system can not work normally. USB electronic microscopy shall be directly connected to the PC. If connected via USB HUB, it may not wok normally. Due to different PC compatibility, USB electronic microscopy may not be compatible to all PCs even the PC has recommended software and hardware.

The elliptical button on the tester handle is for power on/off control. Press the button for 3 seconds to turn on the power; the lens lamp is on. Again, press the button for 3 seconds to turn off the power; the lens lamp is off.


2. Software installation
Double click the setup.exe in CDROM. Install the software in the default folder. During the installation, if it repeatedly shows the Windows is out-of-date and the setup program can not update it, please update the Windows operation system before you install the software.


3. Software lock installation
Double click the install.com in the CDROM. After installation is completed, turn off the PC. Restart the PC. Connect the software lock to the PC’s port. Then the system will show “Add new hardware” and automatically complete the installation.


Note: Before you run the install.com, do not connect the software lock to the PC’s port. Two or more NAU series software locks shall not be installed on one PC. Otherwise, the system may not work normally. Must properly keep the software lock. If it is lost, you need to purchase the whole system.
